Mr. Henry E. Dietz

Mr. Henry ‘Hank’ Dietz graduated with a Civil Engineering Degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1966, after which he served as an airborne ranger & infantry officer in the U.S. Army, including tours of Vietnam and then serving at the Army Mountain Ranger Camp in Dahlonega, Georgia.

In 1973 Mr. Dietz co‐founded the Manhattan Company, Inc. - a industrial & office real estate development company that developed industrial parks and built, managed, and leased over 2,000,000 square feet of industrial and high‐tech space in Michigan.

Most of these properties were integrated into First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. at its formation as a New York Stock Exchange listed REIT.

Focusing on his personal mission of providing jobs to Veterans and service‐disabled Veterans, Mr. Dietz co‐founded and is helping to grow a Service‐Disabled Veteran‐Owned Small Business product distribution company supplying the U.S. Federal Government.

He is a long standing member and the past President of the Michigan chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). He also holds the CCIM Partner professional designation as a certified real estate investment expert.
