In keeping with the more enlightened trends of 21st century business practices Morning Star Oil is acutely aware of our responsibility to not only adopt operational policies that provide for minimal impact on the natural environment, but also to ensure the health, safety, and prosperity of the communities where we operate.
Without long term protection of the natural environment no amount of fiscal profit has any meaning. Modern scientific evidence has clearly linked human behavior with major impact on the planet, and companies and individuals that operate within the energy sector are acutely aware that their actions must be carefully considered.
The operations of Morning Star Oil are closely tied to the Oil & Gas industry, and we feel that our position within that industry is one of unique benefit. Rather than let existing drilling operations go fallow and continued to run at low capacity over a great period of years Morning Star Oil recovery technologies allow for oilfield operations to capture and control whatever remaining capacity a particular source location may have.
Once we complete our oil recovery process that existing source will come to the end of its useful life, and can be shut down and refurbished, restoring the natural environment as closely as possible to its original condition.
Additionally, as far as possible Morning Star Oil attempts to train and employ local talent for its operations, and consciously analyzes the needs of the community where it operates. Positive community relations are essential both to being welcome in and to being caring stewards of the locations and communities where we work.
To this end we always dedicate a percentage of our earnings to the development of local educational & environmental projects, all of which are designed to benefit the local community in the regions were our projects are undertaken.
Morning Star Oil cares about the world and about the people and all the other living creatures within it, and this attitude is clearly reflected in the decisions we make.
